A nuke fired for EMP would NEVER hit the ground, they're exploded several miles above the ground (depending on intended targeting) to spread the EMP blast, since they're meant to fry electronics only, not make the ground glow. An EMP nuke will never produce fallout because it doesn't hit the ground. In fact, the only way someone can be hurt by an EMP nuke would be to stare at the explosion, or be flying in a plane going through or near the explosion. (or being in a plane at all, since they'll drop like rocks with wings right away)

I have that all over my 1966 elementary school but they don't use the alarm for drills but this time they did but only to alarms horns blew all those alarms were mosy because the hallways were open not like inside

They have a Simplex 4007ES system in the art center at my friend's university, replacing a Simplex 4002 panel from the early 1990s. But they just removed the old Simplex 4051 horns and slapped 4906-9127 TrueAlert horn/strobes onto the 4040-60 and 4050-80 light plates (before the 4002, they had a Simplex 4208 system installed in 1974). They kept the existing 4251-30 break-glass pulls and 2098-9201 photoelectric smoke detectors, along with a new TrueAlarm CO detector in the re-done boiler room.

Holy shit! This is super cool! What are the model numbers of all these alarms? Looks like they are all set on different candela settings, I know the 4903s are fixed candela (15, 30, 110CD). One of the 4903s looks like a speaker strobe and the other is a horn strobe (model no. depended on candela so either 4903-9252, 9253, 9254 and 4903-9150, 9148 or 9149), both look selectable. Those TrueAlerts are the loudest. Some seem to be fixed candela 4903-9417, 9418 and 9419 models while others seem multi candela 4906-9127 models. I cannot even hear the 4903 speaker strobe or TrueAlert speaker strobe, they're so quiet.

Yeah, Simplex totally isn't my favorite brand...

I wouldn’t say these panels aren’t reliable as then they wouldn’t be up to code. Instead, they’re just more prone to break to user error as some of the processes of working on them are a little different than most simplex units. Mine works just fine and still works even after a firmware upgrade as I knew how to work on them thanks to documentation from simplex. They’re great for what they are and the trick is to just follow documentation.
